building a Universe

I would like to know how people feel about building a Universe. I really like the natural Universe project and like to build my own guitars. I wanted to build a Universe soon but wanted to see what the general opinion was. I have been playing Jems since 1987 and want to get Universes from now on. Let me know how you feel. I would also like to know about aftermarkets swirls. Do you like them, agree with them?

im ordering the wood by the end of the week, as soon as i can find a couple more specs that i need. ill keep this forum updated as i go along.

i wasnt happy making a carbon copy of an existing guitar, so i decided to make it a neck through and put an EMG 81-7 and a 707 in place of the Dimarzios.

i modified a template in Autodesk Autocad 2002 to fit my specs.
