Buying a Ibanez Jem /v

I'm going to buy a used Ibanez Jem 7v. I have seen that Jem 7v's has two stripes on the back of the neck, but the picture that I got from the seller didn't have two stripes. Is it fake then?

I think it depends on the model year. I believe newer ones have two thin stripes but older ones have one thicker one. The really early ones didn't have one at all.

Please show some pics, so people here on Jemsite can give you info if it is real or not...

Jazzed is right. The later ones have stripes but the earlier ones don't. Pics would be necessary, of the whole guitar while we're at it

Nope.

That one is legit and I don't think there is any difference from the old ones to the new ones except the changed trem and from ebony to rosewood.

I'd take the 5 piece non scarf neck over the one piece scarf anyday.
