Buzz Feiten? Anyone have this done to their guitars?

I am curious exactly how accurate the buzz feiten system is? Anyone have it done to their guitars? Who would you recommend doing it. I have heard some horrer stories of local repair guys in these small shops not doing a great job. Tom Anderson puts it on his guitars...Vai, Satriani, Fripp, Hamm all sware by it? Who would you recommend to do this install?

I just got a killer deal on a AJ307CE 7 string acoustic from **** ($275 in mint!!!). It needs a setup and I think I'm going to get the Buzz mod done at the same time as the setup.

Where have you heard these horror stories from?

Evidently you need to take a course and be licensed by Feiten to do the install (as they receive a cut of every install charge), that's likely why "local repair guys" are having issues. I'd check Feiten's site to make sure you bring your guitar to someone authorized to do the install, and then get yourself a feiten aware tuner to tune your guitar against. It would seem like a simple mod, but it isn't just anyone who is allowed to do it. Be aware when folks post "I did it myself, it's all good" that YMMV.
