Re: cant stay in tune?

Are the strings really new (or perhaps really old)? If they're new, they're probably just settling in. If not...I dunno.

Re: cant stay in tune?

Is the nut base is tight and not moving, check the saddle intonation scews, and and check to see if the strings were tightly secured.

Did you say a prayer before you put the strings on? If not, then you will have to buy some new strings.

What did you do to fix it?
Would be nice to know the reason and solution.

Re: cant stay in tune?

My Jem is by far the hardest of all of my guitars to tune. In fact, I play it very little because it always takes so much time to get it in.

Re: cant stay in tune?

Maybe lack of locking studs or fat knife edges. Check out the tech section at ibanezrules.com
