That is weird, I did send them an Email a year ago about a FP a friend wanted to buy and they said that it was OK and the serial matches that FP.

How long did it take for them to reply? Everytime I've emailed the .co.jp address it's been either weeks, or no reply at all.

Amongst other things, things that even go wrong on a 'better' chibanez I've seen on others
-Distance of the pickguard's screws <-> side of the pickguard.
-Number of pickguards screws on bass and treble side is off as well... these dorks can't even count properly, and...
-Pickguard should end between the 20th and 21st fret on the bass side, not 19-20 like in this case, or right on a fret.

Had to dig that out, took about 3 weeks for the reply and it was quite short and now that you say it: It wasn't quite good English either hehe.

Then if you can actually trust the answer is correct, it's no good for buying anything anyway. By the time you'd get an answer, if you did, the guitar would have long been sold to somebody else.
