chunky fine tuners

replaced bridge... origional edge... I noticed the fine tuners are not smooth like my last one (lo-pro). They are kinda chunky feeling when you turn them. Why is this, is it common? thanks

Its a brand new edge that i just put on now though, I suspect it may be the different texture of the metal rod under the fine tuners.

A little lubricant always helps! WD-40 will do the trick nicely. If the trem is new, it is normal for the screws to be a little tight. With time they'll loosen up.

You're better off using something like Molykote grease, it will lubricate better and last longer. WD-40 is meant more to loosen rusted bits, not for long-term lubrication.
