Re: Cleaning My jem
Do normal music stores stock Bore Oil and Fret Doctor? The ones around me aren't too "diverse" with that kind of thing and I don't feel like ordering off the internet.

Re: Cleaning My jem
Try and find a local woodwind instrument store for bore oil. I couldn't find any in guitar shops, but got some yesterday in a w/wind store

Can't tell if you're being serious or sarcastically mocking me...

Re: Cleaning My jem
I have been using Dr Stringfellow's Lemon Oil... not sure if it is just a Mineral Oil (as suggested in beafifer.com). But what I find, with my 7DBK
rosewood fret board
, is that it looks great right after I oil it and buff it off. But about a month afterwards, this white-ish film starts appearing on area's that I play most frequently. So I end up oiling it again and it looks good for another month or so.
After reading the website listed above, it is probably just the oil that I have been using. So I have just purchased a 30ml bottle of Fret Doctor... hoping it will work better and last longer.
