Couple future swirl projects in the works...

Picked up a couple swirl bodies off the bay. They aren't here yet, but I'm looking forward to turning them into guitars!!

and

Thinking of making my own Root Beer Jem since they are hard to find.

I've had a Nate Perle swirl and up to close you could loads of runs and different paint thickness.

I hope that Nate his new swirls are different now.

Still, it's going to be a cool project to watch. Congrats and keep up updated!

Are those clear coated?
Personnaly IMVeryHO, selling a swirled body without clear coat is something like selling a bike without tires or buying cheeseburger without cheese.
Anyway, the blue looks cool. Please post more pics when completed.

Re: Couple future swirl projects in the works...

Yeah they aren't clear coated. I know a good finish guy. If worse comes to worse, maybe they'll end up being part of the Root Beer Jem project. LOL

I DO have another swirl project going on as well. It IS clearcoated. More on that one later. I know people sill $hit their pants when they see it. In a good way.

LOL

I have Clear Coated several of Nate's Swirls. I think they are very good and priced low.

Nice! that looks really good! There's a great luthier I know, just a magician. So I know he will do a great job with the clearcoat. What type of clear did you use?
