Custom Floral Jem Help...

I have a blank body, and Im going to attempt to paint it like the BFP Jem

Just wondering what kind've paint I should use? (Not for the clear finish, I will pay a luthier to do that, Im talking about for the basic pattern/undercoat)

I can draw pretty good as well for the template, but I was wondering are there templates already made on **** to save time?

The actual florals have a material over the wood.

If you'd be interested in taking more pics, could you do some close-ups of each section of the guitar? It'd be nice to be able to make a single composite image out of several smaller, but really sharp, clear close-ups.

I believe BFPs have flower-painted paper as the material, not canvas. FPs uses canvas as the material.

They're both pretty big pictures, in the second you can see the texture of the bfp print...

If you look close, you can see the fabric pattern in the BFP. It may be a print, but you can see the pattern.

Jim,

If you can post the rest of the guitar like the second pic, I can do the mosaic. It'll give me an excuse to play with Photoshop PS4.

FP is cloth, BFP is paper, and thats all theres to it...

Maybe the printed pattern on paper is a scan of actual cloth, that i dont know, but the material itself is paper...

I'll give you that the physical material actually on the guitar is a print, but it's a photo-representation of a fabric. There. We both win.
