Custom JEM vs Production JEM

LGM's look killer!

Only thing that hinders me a custom in the future is I will only use Ibanez Edge, Low Pro and Edge Pro trems. Nothing else on this earth comes close to there performance.

But if i go for custom axe i let JACKSON do the honors...these guys are the best.

Wasn't there a post recently from Jeremy that he will only be taking orders for his Leviathan model? I haven't contacted him at all but I would definetly send a deposit if I knew when he would start being able to build other models again. Also check out Christopher Woods website. I heard he is also swamped with orders. Jeremy's work is beautiful and in my opinion I'd wait for him.

How can C. Woods cut the Ibanez headstock and not get sued?

Another reason to get a custom JEM is that the custom one doesn't come with the infamous Ibanez neck pocket cracks. Teehee......

So can someone recommoned another luthier? I mean really, if demand is well over supply here, it wouldnt hurt to recommned someone else. I live in Texas, anyone know a good luthier? Also, is it better to by a RG550 and modify it, or start from scratch. Price and time being factors as well as quality.

I have actually 4 guitars custom made in brazil and sincerely they sound much better tyan my ibanez guitars.. but is not a JEM. JEM is a ibanez symbol.. no sense in made a replica.. and a "JEM" with a fixed bridge its not a jem.. its a beplica of a fixed bridge RG with lion claws and monkey grips.. but as i said.. custom guitars rules..
