The wait is over and its now up to me....

I have always heard that pics do not do swirls justice....now I have to agree! This is truly awesome. I will post pics when assembled next week.

Basically a custom UV, with two color vine inlay, swirl job, alder body with monkey grip, blah, blah, blah........Stay tuned.!

I will get it up as soon as I can, it is truly awesome and worth every minute of the wait. He also sent me a cool car tag swirled to match! I'll get it posted as well. I think he is selling these to the public now. Very cool:biggrin:

Herc offered similar services in the past. Check his website. Perhaps too, Darren can assist.

Tommy - who is doing your neck & inlays? Good luck!!... glen

What UV did you strip for the swirling or was it a custom made body as well?

CUSTOM UV NEAR COMPLETION

Glen, remember all my posts on "still waiting for my custom neck".... well it finally came and is awesome....courtesy of Jon Harper. I posted pics a while back. Still assembling the thing...man, lots of patience required! lol * Maple neck, purple and green vines, upper 6 frets scalloped, maple board. Very nice... Once it is assembled i will post some pics....it came out far better than i could have imagined and was worth every minute of the wait

I stripped a UV7bk for its parts and sold the neck and body. Only cost @300 for all parts that way. Body and neck built by Harpers and turned out very nice. Just needed neck holes drilled on neck (big deal to me). Not sure why that wasn't done, since "they're made with templates"....oh well......stay tuned for pics..
