Customizing my UV777bk so I can actually use it - not going

I'd like your honest opinion on any of these mods


I want to add a perloid pickguard with only the H-H configuration and use the JPM configuration but possibly place the knobs differently.

I also want to stain the back of the neck with an aged look
and then have it satin finished or oiled

I also want to have zebra Dimarzio pickups for it, but i'm not sure if I want cream or white bobins

this isn't too drsatic but It would make it non stock aymore, and some what more playable for me

*That's a Universe that I'd buy up in a second! *Though my pickups would be black/black, that'd be a great Universe in my opinion.

Be sure to post pics when you do it. That is why I won't spend the money on a Jem or UV. I would rather save and buy a JPM or a Prestige first. I guess if it's in mint condition I might try to trade for and axe and cash then you won't feel bad if it doesn't come out good.
