Blackstar, as I said in my presentation I think that a special Jem, different from the commercial ones, should have a differente finish than just a new painting or pattern, like the 20th anniversary transparent Jem.
I have to say I don't like the new Floreal Pattern because it says nothing new.
I love your images, very detailed, but for example I prefer the "Gem" guitar (would be crazy a stone Jem!), or the one with the carbon fiber body (another great presentation!)

Since Ibanez ARE building YOUR dream guitar, i wonder if anyone even thought of including fingerboard radius in their design?? Remember, they are only making two and this would not be a huge request.......just a thought.

Now this I DO like. So long as it has a textured finish, it looks almost like a trophy. Very organic, fret wa_ker Vai is sure to like this

Thanks steviegell it is supposed to be textured gold leaf over paint, but it would need some clear coat to protect it I think.

multi-man, that carved heart is awesome. Love the colours with the wood! There's some very strong stuff here.

s1i2f3, great presentation. All that detail... just wow! Seems you know your stuff.

Steviegell, your design rocks too, dude. I like it with the maple neck as well as ebony. Didn't know Vai kept bees!

i agree.... this is a oportunity to think outside the box and be radical, i think that this designs need to be more than just a different paint job...
