Did I miss out on a great deal?

Today i was at Sam Ash and i spotted a used jem7wh for 1,899...

I asked to take a look i plugged it in and i also spotted it was signed by Vai himself absouletly no scratches dings or anything. played great.

Did i miss out on a good deal?

Nope, not really a bargain price at all tbh. Signatures generally add no value if that's what you're concerned about.

yah thats what i thought ... they told me it was a great deal cus it was signed by vai, but yah i thought it was a bit high for a used one even tho it was flawless

i guess it depends on the year as well... mines 06' practically untouched and if i were to sell it i would try for 1600-1700. Whether someone buys it for that price, thats another story. Jem's retail for $4399 here in Australia and given the current exchange rate there's a $2000 difference in price.

yer i know... i dont think id ever plan on selling it so i guess it doesnt matter anyway. Thats what's great about all the ATD models. Prices are just skyrocketing. i wonder where it ends with those models.

They street for about that much but the recommended retail price is $4,995.
