DIY JEM body dimension help

I got a big chunk of leopard wood/lacewood for my birthday and I was wondering if it was big enough to make a JEM out of it Also, a full diagram for the body would be good.

Anyway, it's a solid chunk of wood and the dimensions are 17x13x2.

It's solid lacewood/leopard wood and I have no idea of the tonal qualities of the wood, so if anyone has something to say about it that would be nice.

You're going to LOVE the leopard wood! I've got some on the way. I'm going to be making a body completely out of leopard wood. You're going to absolutely LOVE it!

Thanks, it sounds like I will from all that I have heard.

Well, as it turns out, the upper horn is going to be cut off. So, I'll try to fit an S series type shape on there. If that doesn't work, then I guess a smaller size strat type thing will do.
