Does it annoy anyone else when....

You see a Jem advertised for sale on the evil bay and it's listed as "9.5/10 near mint"

Then you see a collection of very dark pictures, but even in those pictures you can see tarnished pickups, dirty used fretboards, marks all over the back of the guitar etc etc

Search for Jem 10th on the uk version of the affore mentioned site and you'll find what I'm on about.

I want to buy a Jem 10th within the next 2 months, I'm dead set on this, but there is NO WAY I'm payin 2.5 grand for a guitar that looks like that.

I'd rather pay 3 grand for one in good nick.

PS out of interest, what is the going rate for a decent Jem 10th?

Paul

I know what you mean, to me 9.5 means dust in the trem saddles and those very, very, very minor scratches that any guitar pickups up, the ones that are about the size of a hair cut in half that are all over the guitar.
You really can't see them unless you look with your nose in a cavity of the guitar somewhere.
