OK just making sure I wasnt missing anything..
I personally would of bought a new mirror one.. I think thats part of the BSBs class..
Either way I know sometimes even a simple pickguard can be a big deal.. Try chopping into a favorite axe, or painting one.. LOL

Re: Evelyn, a modified JEM
Nice but I prefer the BSB as is, I like the original pickguard better. Nice job though, it does look nice.

Re: Evelyn, a modified JEM
that trem is soooo incredibly clean.. It looks new..
Again no matter what we think. If you like it thats all that matters..
The last pic does look 100% better than the
black pickguard
one above.

All of my trem units are that clean, luckily I don't sweat when I play...the BSB is my main guitar & has been for 6 years, I play it every day & it's been used for many gigs, and has been through music school with me. The stain has worn but there are no scratches, dints on the body & no wear on any of the hardware. I'm super careful me!

Re: Evelyn, a modified JEM
man, i wish i was like that with my guitars. for me, dings just seem inevitable , no matter how careful i am. the closest i have gotten is a tiny finish crack in my olp mm1. but still, not as perfect as you are able to keep yours.

Re: Evelyn, a modified JEM
Looks good..... how about stainless steel screws? Maybe some pups with green/black bobbins and knobs or cream/black or green/cream or black/white to match pickguard ply, blah, blah, blah..... many possibilities! It's all personal taste though. What you like is what counts.
