Fair Price for a Jem77BRMR

Hello, someone locally is selling a Jem77BRMR for $1,800. He says it's still in good condition. Do you guys think that's a fair price? Here are the pics he sent...

And just so I don't have to make another thread, what's a good price on used rg 550s and 770s? Thanks!

Are those scratches usual on the mirror top and does the mirror look really wavy to anyone else?

Re: Fair Price for a Jem77BRMR

I was in Brighton (London) about 6 months ago. In GAK they had a new rock mirror for £2100 (Pounds). Which I thought was bit expensive. Anyway - the next week I managed to get one from ****. The guy looked well dodgy because he only had like 1 feedback and he didnt answer many emails. But I took a chance and got it for £850. sure it has a few little dings and pickmarks etc. But overall I took a chance and it paid off.

Yeah but in some parts of the world you drive 100 miles to "pop out for coffee"

Re: Fair Price for a Jem77BRMR

One of these babies hangs in the used section of Guitar Center here in Boston, for 1999 bucks. I did not have a close look at it, but seemed in a good condition. As far as I could tell - the thing was hanging from the ceiling, out of reach of the 12 year olds who were busy man-handling the Jacksons and Epiphones....

Re: Fair Price for a Jem77BRMR

$1999 is way too much for one of these IMO.
