Re: fair swap ??????

BSB ranks right up there with the DBK as least valuable second hand Jem - for one that's been played and in less than mint condition, average seems to be around £600 on the bay. Certainly not £850-£1k.

Re: fair swap ??????

I think it's a fair swap myself. I doubt that the gt6 would get £150, a quick look on **** suggests a bit less than that and to be honest, I'm not sure that the Peaveys are that popular as to make £850. There's one on the bay for £699 "buy it now".

Personally I'd make the trade, but then I love the BSB

Re: fair swap ??????

The HP is a sweet axe but I think it depends on how bad you want the BSB. The BSB's are getting harder to find but I would think the tone on the the HP would kill anything with a full-floating trem IMHO. Let us know how you fair.

Re: fair swap ??????

To say around £600 for a BSB and to put it on the same level as a DBK is flat out false. Even if they were, DBK's are starting to head up in price. Each DBK I've sold have gone for around the £800 mark.

I've had a few BSB's over time too and each one has sold for at least £750, I even had one that maxed out at £850 + shipping and it wasn't mint (though in very good condition.)

Plus, look around this very site. BSB's are very popular guitars, most people love them. I'd jump at the chance for that trade.
