Flo

I've been hearing some speculation that Steve's "Flo" JEM is a JEM77FP re-painted. This is not true, it is actually a JEM7VWH, all the floral JEMS had square bolt on joint. Steve's "Flo" has a standard bolt on joint.

Re: Flo

Wrong. Actually the reason why the guitar is named 'Flo' is because it's a customised FP painted white.

Check it out http://www.vai.com/Machines/guitarpages/guitar003.html

Re: Flo

I thought it was named Flo because it was a repainted FP. In the picture you'll see that Flo has the AANJ.

Re: Flo

Well I'm up for correction. In an interview with Ibanez Steve states that it is a JEM7V

Re: Flo

Ibanez: Your main live guitar for a long while has been the JEM7VWH "EVO." Is this your main guitar in the studio as well, or are there other Ibanez guitars that you have been gravitating towards lately?
Steve: Every time I go to play another guitar, I usually come back to "EVO." I have been using another JEM7VWH called "FLO" as well because of the nice sustainer system in her. The other guitar I have been using in the studio is the Strat-type Ibanez JEM that the custom shop made me a while back.

dude flo was a fp, if you watch videos you can even see the neck joint was modded to be aanj, also vai might consider it a 7vwh now since it doesnt have floral pattern on it anymore it has white.... and yes v=vine but of course it has a vine even if it is fp, as Vai's Site states, even the name is based off that it use to be a floral pattern

Re: Flo

Well thanks for the correction guys. I also looked at his pickup selector, it's actually under wood and there is hole cut out on the pickguard so it fits through.
