What pickup does Vai have in the neck of his Evo on the Jam part of the DVD. It's not a evolution.

His tone with the Carvin head was awesome too.

Which DVD? Assuming you're referring to the Live in Denver DVD, it's not Evo, but Flo. Flo has a sustainer PU in the neck position. I forget which brand.

Supposing that you're talking about liven in denver(carvin head you mentioned) he only used evo once, and that was on Juice...

Think FLO still has a Fernandez sustainer in it.
