Getting a custom paint job on a Jem7V

Ok, im really interested in getting myself a jem7v.. i've only tried it once.. but ever since then i've really wanted to own one..

the only problem is, i really dont want one thats white\gold like steve vai's, and i dont particularily like hte blue..

so, whilst the white\gold is very very cool, does anyone know any places in the UK that does paint jobs on guitars, so that i could individualise it a bit, and not end up with exactly the same guitar as vai..

Thanks

These guys do it:

http://www.gsrguitars.co.uk

Don't know anything about them, but they do custom paint jobs.

Id strip the body and get a black pickguard for it, but that would look exactly like another of Steve's beasts...

ah cool, that gsrguitars place only has examples of pictures and designs ands tuff being sprayed on to guitars, which isn't really what im after.. i imagine they do regular colours aswell, but obviously i would really have to see a picture of something before i can decide..

which is kind of hte problem.. im not entirely sure what im looking for at the moment, just checking out different things, basically i would just be going for a different colour combination on the body, nothing fancy, just something to make it different.

The guy near me will do solid colours aswell as airbrushing - feel free to PM if you want his number. He is also a total ibanez freak so will feel at home working with the guitar

I wish you were in the UK Jeremy. It would save me a lot of bother for one.

Back to topic - I actually mailed those crazy cats at GSR Guitars and they quoted me £200, I think that was for a one colour flourescent. Not bad, and they were very speedy in replying.

I have had the same problem deciding what to do with my custom jem in terms of finishing, and basically everything I want to do I can't afford (pregnant girlfriend, who isn't very understanding about guitar purchases.
