There's this Harris fella that sells some Ibanez guitars, I think. Rich, maybe? Seems like a good guy...

Rich is really awesome and i would buy from him. Your guitar will come with a top notch setup and be ready to jam on out of the box. The only "downfall" is that he is a prestige seller only (i think?).

Hey JPMGuy

There's a lotta sarcasm in this thread and I'm not sure you're getting the info you need.

Rich Harris at IbanezRules.com is THE guy to buy from. he's a good friend to our little community here and has a SUPERB repuatation for his customer service and knowledge of Ibanez guitars. None of the big retail dealers are going to send you a guitar that's been meticulously set up. Rich will.

Just click the banner. You won't be disappointed.

Re: good online ibanez dealers

I bought a Jem from Rich and I couldn't be happier. His prices are great and he's very good about responding to questions.

And as others have pointed out, his setup is second to none. He has a nearly psychotic attention to detail. Honestly, I'm a little scared to buy an Ibanez from anyone else.

Re: good online ibanez dealers

Rich is a great guy to deal with.

I haven't bought a guitar from him yet, but I've bought a few parts (I don't think I've spent more than $100 at his site) but he treated/treats me the same as someone that has bought a Jem10 from him.

He gets your order out fast, and he's always there to answer any questions.

He's also a stand up guy when it comes to honesty, case in point;

I was looking to buy a new Edge for my RG550. It was replaced about 13 or 14 years ago with a chrome model, but it came with a black one and I wanted to get it back to "original" after all these years of having mis-matched hardware on it.

I emailed Rich and told him what I was looking for and instead of seeing dollar signs and sending me back prices (I was looking for a nut too) he suggested I look for a used one instead because it would cost me almost 3 times as much for a new trem as I would most likely pay for a used trem in decent condition.

I've known, worked with/for and dealt with MANY salesman (and keep in mind, Rich isn't an employee, he's the boss) that would gladly have sucked up every penny they could get, but here Rich actually suggested I NOT buy from him because he didn't think I should spend the extra money.

I've NEVER had a salesman do that . . . NEVER!

I'd trust Rich with just about anything at this point after that . . .

Ok, you guys know I don't pay pimping fees right?!

Maybe this guy just doesn't want to buy from me. Maybe I pissed him off with a 3 word reply, or "blew him off" for annoying me with 20 questions, or maybe he's found his way onto my block sender list!!

There's another forum sponsor up there in the banner adds, right next to mine.

Re: good online ibanez dealers

Eh, it's not kiss-assing or anything like that . . . all the praise you get on this site is earned . . . very rare thing actually.

But you are correct, there are other choices and if for some reason someone doesn't want to deal with you there is a plethora of other dealers out there. :-)

I'll repeat what someone else in this thread already said . . . Google . . . 'nuff said.

Oh.

Nevermind then. Rich beat me up and took my lunch money. Then he hid pot in my locker!

Re: good online ibanez dealers

I've bought an Ibanez SR400 bass and a RG321MH from Matt's over the last 2 years. They're great to deal with and usually give an extra discount to Jemsite members. Both guitars were out of stock when I ordered them, but the trip from Hoshino USA only took an extra week.

If I was in the market for another Jem or Prestige RG, I'd definitely give Rich the nod.
