Got hold of a '97 U7BK!

Hi there!

I finally got hold of a '97 UVBK!!!! It's the fully black one with white dot inlays, unlike the '90-'96 weird green dotted UVBK's. I just love it!!!! I bought it at Evilbay for GBP500 which is an excellent price for the guitar. It comes with the original hardcase too. For now I can only show you the pictures I got from the seller (also on http://demogorgos.is-a-geek.net/guitars/Universe/) but I'll post some good ones as soon as this baby arrives at her new home, which should be somewhere next week.

Best regards,

D

Nice score man! £500 is a good price for that too!
Ive never tried a seven string, but I am buying a hardtail one of a guy on here. If I can "cope" with the extra string, id love to own one of the newer black universe's with the pyramid inlays.

I would definatly check out http://www.btinternet.com/~faymarine/swirls_home.htm for a swirl job. I got a body of him and it is a very professional job.

Dude,

Here's another U7BK, also a '97 (only 1000 made): http://cgi.****.es/ws/****ISAPI.dll?...EWA%3APIC&rd=1

It says that the guitar has some scratches here and there, but that it is in top condition and well playable.

It is selling for 223 euros right now, so GO FOR IT MY MAN!!!!!

Best of luck if you decide to bid for it.

Thumbs up

Re: Got hold of a '97 U7BK!

Hi,

The guitar is really cool in black, so I will have it repainted black. With the monkey grip it will be one awesome and unique guitar. I think that extra inlays would make it overdone, that's like putting bells and whistles on a HD Fat Boy. It will be cool just like it is, only with a fresh body paintjob and the MG. The dots are nice. Now, if somebody can point me out to someone who could do an FP on it, I would reconsider and maybe have it doen in FP (+ monkeygrip) and maybe later a ToL inlay. I would transform it into a Universe7FP. I think it would look really awesome!

Regards,

D

Uh OH !!!
I was bidding for a UV from UK evilbay last month and got to £350 (from 99p start) before evil bay officials jumped in and saved my ass...It was a comlete scam from a hacked username.
