Grabbed an '01 VWH (finally)

I've been looking for one for a long time, since I've been Jemless for a while. I think I was the only mod without a Jem (though I have a few other Ibanezes). So, I saw one on the 'Bay yesterday with a buyer very near me, and I got it backdoored for a great price, and picked it up last night.

It's an '01, and it looks like it went from the store to his bedroom, and stayed there until yesterday. Not a single mark or scratch on it anywhere, and no wear on the gold, either. It was horribly setup, but that is mostly fixed now as well. I'll do the intonation later when I change the strings and put a little bore oil on the board. All the original case candy (5 "How to" guides?! )the original hang tags, and the case is mint! It's as close to perfect/NOS as you could hope for.

I'll try and get some pics up later (I think you all know what these look like ) but as Jim will attest I've been looking for one of these for a while and am pretty damn pleased at this point to finally have one. As soon as I sold my '98 I missed it, so it's nice to get one back. If I don't get pics tonight I'll get some tomorrow with some of her new stablemates

Congrats Jim. Isn't that one of the years they needed new posts? I had an 01' that I had a lot of tuning problems with and sold it, before I found the post problems here.

So, dare I suggest, using this as a standard - the current used price for a mint 01 Jem 7VWH is between 1100 and 1200?
