Has anyone ever ordered/played/seen a neck thru Jem?

I think that Ibanez has never manufactured Jems with neck though body. But I guess someone out there has custom ordered such a Jem or seen/played one. What did it feel like.
Bet the sustain would have been mind blowing. i really wish Ibanez starts making neck thru Jems one of these days!

The closest we'll ever see to a neck-thru JEM is either the RGT3120 or one of the comparable J Customs. The only way that we'll ever see a neck-thru JEM is if Mr. Vai decides that he'd like one, and he seems to have a definite preference for bolt-on necks.

Steve Vai has been playing bolt-on guitars for about 2 decades as a pro. Until he reverses this treand, his signature model guitars (Ibanez JEM/UV) will continue to be bolt-on

Ok...let me clarify...a REAL, Ibanez-made JEM. Naturally, custom projects are an option, or you could simply purchase and subsequently butcher an RGT3120. But, as far as actually being able to purchase an Ibanez JEM with neck-thru construction, I'd bet that such a guitar will not be available from Ibanez any time in the near future.

This debate is older than Jems, well, ok, maybe not, but it will never happen, unless Vai wants it to.
