HELP - Cracked JEM Bad Horsie Mirror Pickguard

Hey guys. Just bought a JEM Bad Horsie to add to my collection (my 2nd Jem). It was advertised in near mint condidtion, and it is, I am very please with it. However when I got it and opened the case, during shipping the bridge had popped off one of its posts and the pickguard is cracked now. STINKS! Have no idea how the bridge could become dislocated, but the guitar was shipped with the whammy bar on. Must have seen a decent bump or hit, but the box is fine.

Anyway, my question. I need to get a new replacement pickguard. I looked on the Ibanez replacement parts and didn't see any replacement guard. I want to get as close to original as possible!!

Does anybody know (since Ibanez has NO tech support #):
- Is the JEMDBDK pickguar the same mirror one as on the Bad Horsie? Will all the screws and locations match?

- I've looked at a couple pickguard makers of the mirrored ones. They look pretty dead on. They said I could send my broken one in and they would 100% match the screw locations and things, but it seems like their guards are 1/32" thicker. Not a huge deal I guess, but like I said, I'd like to stay all original Ibanez if possible. Plus will their mirror color match the one on my pickguard?

Any suggestions or comments would be great! Like I said, I'd like to get an Ibanez one if possible, but where and what part number is it and will it match and fit? Or am I out of luck with an Ibanez one?

Thanks Bahamut. I found the Hoshino repair number in the link you posted. $135 bucks but it is the exact replacement part as on the original guitar. Oh well, the guy is going to split it with me.

Did the shipper send with insurance? If so, won't that cover the replacement?

That mirror pickguard cracking is kinda common around the screws.
Sorry to hear about yours.
I would think that one of the Vendors here on Jemsite could probably help you out.
