OK, here is the dilema. I am in the market for a new guitar. I currently have a
les paul (actually heritage 150 amde to 59 spec) a 335 (actually a heritage 535), a 62ri strat with fralins, and a
ernie ball axis. SO as you can see I was having a hard time of what to get next. I have bought and sold countless guitars over the years, and am at the point now where only the truly great guitars stay in the arsenal. I am a huge Vai fan, don't aspire to play like him, but love to listen and watch him play. So obviously my first thought was to get a JEM of whoch the only one I really want is the vwh. But then I read some really good stuff about the js1000. Obviously I dig satch a lot too. Obviously these are 2 very different guitars, pickups, body, and neck being the major differences. Of these the neck is the most important to me. I had a rg520qs a couple of years ago and HATED the wizard neck. way too thin, horrible for sustain. And very uncomfortable to play. What are the physical differences between these 2 guitars neck profiles. And I would like to here some comparison opinions on these 2 guitars. I won't have the privelage of playing before buying so all info is welcome. Thanks.
