Well, does the guitar play well? If you enjoy playing the guitar I'd keep it, but demand a partial refund for inaccurately described item. I've broken a neck on one of my guitars. It was repaired and still felt like it did before it was broken so I still love the guitar.

If the neck feels like something is wrong as a result of the damage and subsequent repair (i.e. not repaired well) then demand a return and refund.

I'd ask for a huge price cut if you REALLY love the guitar and can't part with it, otherwise I'd 100% send it back. It is F-ing ridiculous to have a guitar described as having "a paint chip" and then it arrives with a giant crack around the neck. Totally unacceptable.

Sorry your neck was broken. Though I would not say that it is a common occurrence with all ibanez guitars. I own 5 ibanez guitars and none have neck cracks. Sounds like the seller gave you a raw deal. Just get your money back and call it a day.
