Hmm, that KONX tape might indeed be usefull..

..just wanted to say that I spent a couple minutes today re-activating the high e string that got stuck under my BRIDGE pickup. I don't even know how it got there; 'cause there wasn't lots of whammy action involved.

It's a weird world we live in.

I've NEVER had a problem with strings getting caught under the pickup, until recently.

Actually, my baby e is getting caught on the fret edges believe it or not. Rich gave me FILING info, but I haven't done anything yet. Perhaps a job for a pro.

It's not always about the whammy - sometimes it happens to me when I'm strumming rhthym too hard.

Never had a problem with the string getting caught under the pickup, but I do have the same problem as Davester.. Kind of annoying, and I a real problem if it happening during av gig in the middle of a emotional solo or something

I had BOTH of those problems on my 7vwh until I lowered the bridge pup & used an emery board on my 1st 3 frets.
no more snags!
although, I wouldn't recomend using an emery board on YOUR guitar unless you cut it down to a smaller width.
the edge of my fretboard now has scuffmarks from my bad file job.
It doesn't bother me though...I figure, if EVO looks like she does & still plays?
