Homemade jem

Hey, guys. I finally made it up to 20 posts so I can now post pics... Wooohooo!!!
Anyway, I wanted to show you all this lovely homemade jem. Now, not to have guys thinking that I made this personally, I bought all the parts seperate and I had them put together by a local guitar tech in town. I'm really satisfied on how this came out but now my tune with the swirls and having a jem style guitar is changing. So, in the near future you might see it here on this site or evilbay or even craigslist...

Here's some stats...

1) Maple Neck with fading pyrmaid inlays.
2) 4x2 headstock with wilkinson ez-lock tuners.
3) Dimarzio Evolution pickup set
4) Ibanez Edge Lo-pro tremolo
5) Electronics are from allparts

The Neck is maple and the body is made from popular.
Also, just to let you know that I bought the body from Nate Perle on the bay...

So, what do you guys think? Hopefully, soon I can post a video of it soon.

Re: Homemade jem

Niiiiiiiiiiiiice!!

I want to replace the damaged lazer blue body on my RG550 with a blue swirl but cant buy one straight off the bay because of they have the AANJ joints while mine needs a square neck joint. I'm sure he'd run one off for me but moneys a bit tight right now to finish my Ibanez "Sapphire" lol.

Soon though...soon...

I made some mango and pear jam once. It was nice

I am personally still half way through a cow design jem, which I guess would be more like marmite than jam.

Either way this guitar looks good.
