How can I refresh the plastic cover over the maple board?? -

Well, I,ve aprreciated that in the 5th fret of my Jem77BFP maple fretboard has appeared a little hole in the plastic cover of the maple, like a scratch ..is very little, less than the half of a pinky nail..
How can I repair this?? What Can I Do to prevent this?? I think itīs because a little screwdriver falled onto the fretboard :idunno:...but maybe not, and itīs caused for the playing and time...

Thnx in advance guys!! :rotf:

More than likely you're just playing through the clearcoat. A swipe of superglue will seal it (just don't glue yourself to the board)
