How much can I sell my Jem 10 for?

I'm almost in tears as I type this, but it's got to go. The greatest guitar I've ever known, but if I told you why I was selling it, I'm sure you'd understand. A sad day indeed.

Any ideas what I'd get for it in the UK please? #838. It's played, I could never lock it up in a display case...but still in very good condition. The chrome on the pups has worn off, there are a few paint scratches on the back, everything else is excellent quality. I had it set up recently by the genius at Machinehead, it plays like butter. It might have a few saltwater stains on it tonight, once I've finished weeping over it.

Thank you so much guys and gals, it's been an absolute pleasure to be part of this community. I didn't make it to 777 posts, but hey...c'est la vie.

I'm reluctant to detract from the reason for this thread, and tell me to sod off if you will, but what gives? I don't recall there being rules about having to own a Jem to be part of this community.

I'm sure you could get at least $3,000 for it, even if all the chrome is worn off the PU's

Sorry, I cannot turn down such a kind offer: SOD OFF!

Well, I might as well reveal the "family secret" seeing as I'm leaving...if you own a Jem and are part of the Jemsite community, Glen sends you a free Ferrari with 2 members of the preferred gender/sexuality in it (one's in the trunk). Also the web server is alerted to your presence when browsing Jemsite, and we Jem owners get together on a gold plated website, and laugh at everyone else. Also Steve Vai gives us free guitar lessons and Yngwie lends us his George Foreman grill.

All of this is true. And damn, I just realised that I'm no longer going to be part of the Jemasons. Oh well, just have to join the regular masons.

Well you know...I'm selling my MG40 and now my Jem, so I'm guitarless. I'm just a guy hanging around a whorehouse with no money...and I'm sure you all know exactly what that's like.

Guitarless? That ain't right. At the very least you should get yourself a cheap RG to pluck away on. If you weren't on the Continent, I'd offer you my RG 470...
