How much for a Backstop??????

Hi Everyone!
I'm new to the Jemsite Forum so forgive me if this post shouldn't be here but I thought the Jem users were as likely to know this as anyone on here.
How much are Ibanez Backstops currently going for in the classified section? How much would I have to pay for an Excellent Condition example?Do they appear for sale very often? How much should I be prepared to go up to or is it basically a 'Sellers Market' as far as Backstops go.I've noticed that a LOT of people seem to also be after one.Can anyone please advise me on the Backstop peurchasing situation(availability, prices maximum etc.).
Thanks in advance to anyone who can give me any guidance on this topic! All the Best!...................JTM45!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Welcome to jemsite. Search the classifieds to see some recent pricing. It's a seller's market. I've seen several sell under $50.

TOC - backstops aren't trem blocking devices. Apples vs Oranges ...glen

True....but T-No will give ya a lil' more in the tone department....and as far as the lockout that stabilizes it....I was always under the impression that the backstop would help the trem lockout if you broke a string, then again I never used one on my own stuff and have seen some horror stories where they coudlnt get it to fit the cavity....that and they go for too much now since production'd been stopped years ago.
