I have finally done it!!! - After over 5 years of dreaming

Woo Hoo!!! Yesterday, I finally made the downpayment for a brand new UV777BK at a killer price too. It has been my dream to have an Ibanez Universe for a long time now and it has finally come true. All I have to do now is wait for June to come to make the rest of the payment when the shipment arrives. I guess then I can finally really feel like I belong to this place. Thanks guys for all your reviews, tips, advice.

Congrats on making the order...I remember the amount of anticipation when receiving mine...check out the old forum for a chronology

I remember her gleaming out of the case looking like a 7 string jem 10! The feel of a UV neck is unbeatable! Enjoy her and WELCOME to the club!

I have to guitars I still dream about... the BSB and a UV (either 777BK or MC).

I bought mine about 3 months ago - i didn't set out to be a 7 stringer - i just needed a new guitar and a JEM BFP wasn't falling into my lap (that'd happen 2 months later :biggrin: )

It's so comfortable to play - felt 'at one' with the instrument in no time at all.

I don't know how you're going to stand to wait 'til June. *I'd go out of my head!!!!

Thanks for all your comments guys. A special thanks must go to my girlfriend, she has been supporting me all the way. In fact she's more excited than me about getting the UV. Without her, I would not have been able to get it by June. I guess I'm really lucky. Now we have to wait till June and I think I'm not going to survive the wait.

Congrats Ryan and thanks for reminding me that I still have a guitar to dream about. I thought I had everything that I wished for when I received my newly aquired Jem90, but I already feel the urge for a UV....

JFT - you can count on it, but it's only the second Ibanez I in the family so I wont be much of a family. Unless you add in my Brian Moore MC1 and Curbow Petite 5 string bass.

Congrats firegarden ... trust me.. it will become a family real soon (if you're like me). I just got my first Jem a couple of months ago... then I got a DBK real quick after that (has been unloaded now), then it was a UV777BK... and just this week, got my GMC!!!! YAY!!! Families happen real quick. *
