I sold my 540 for baby diapers...

well - that was 11 years ago!

BUT - I must say that my wonderful wife made up for this tragedy, and today, presented me with a 7VSBL !!! (40th B-Day present)

and , as a little added bonus, threw in an AVT100 just for grins..

I was beginning to think that I'd be jammin' thru my son's 10w practice amp!

Ok - so I won't hold this over her head any longer..

btw - Thank you Rich - you're right, I am very lucky to have her - and thanks for your help!!!

Thanks - I think I'll keep her (the wife..)

Pretty lucky on the neighboor front - he's from Bristol and still plays in a blues band around town - so he's was just stoked that I got a Marshall as well - even if it is an AVT. Got to get back to Milton Keynes for a tour..

I didn't even the wife knew about combo amps!!

AND she even let me keep the mint '91 450s that I picked up at auction - 2 weeks before!!!

There is a upside to a wife who can handle my GAS!!!

I sold my Les Paul Standard so that the wife could have a new Jacuzzi installed.

Six months later We walk into Guitar Center and buy a JEM7VWH.

I guess I'll keep her.
