I want to thank y'all, from the bottom of my Jem10.
I don't know why, but I expected someone else to be there at the end of the auction. Trying to snipe it along side me. But ... nothing! I was the only one. I got the guitar for it's Reserve Price, and I ain't mad at nobody for it. So, thank you guys!
Perhaps most of you were put-off by it not being totally original, I dunno? But that's OK with me. I personally like this body better than the Jem10 original (no offense). It's not as gaudy. All I do know is that this guitar is all that the seller claimed that it was (and more!), and I'm one happy camper. I finally own the Jem10 of my dreams, and I didn't have to spend a small fortune for it. I guess it was meant to be. I'm happy with the guitar, and the price.

I thought about it, but the VBK body is cut for a 58mm heel and the 10 has a 56mm [usually 55] heel. Just too much pocket gap for me

Yep, a VERY valid concern,
in theory
. But I'm telling you, there is NO gap, ... and I don't understand why. On the bass side, it's tight. And on the treble side, I can barely get a post card to slide in.
I was also very happy that it has the Edge Pro on it, as this rounds out my Trifecta. My current line-up consists of guitars with the old-skool Edge, the Lo-
Pro Edge
, and now the Edge Pro. Shaweet!
The bottom line is, I bought this guitar to play for a VERY long time. This is one guitar that I will probably never sell for the rest of my life. And I don't say that about any guitars that I've played . . . ever.

I'd have a hard time believing that, and certainly couldn't explain it, but if I had know it I would have been your competition

I'll take pics and post them later. I'm not offended by your remarks, as I was concerned as well.
Besides, you have enough guitars. You didn't need this one as much as I did.

I see, said the blind man. But I do not understand!
Decently finished fret ends too, that's not factory. You sure I didn't sell that 10 at some point?!

I don't know if the seller did the work, or had it done. He owns a studio, so I'm guessing he has a
local luthier
. The Edge wasn't setup exactly the way I think they should be ... but not too bad. Like I've stated, I couldn't be happier. And I'm really glad you decided to stay away. Made my job easier.

What do you mean no gap? I could park a bus in that gap!
Let me do you a favour and offer you your money back
Only kidding, congrats on your new guitar
