Ibanez 20th Anniversary

Hey all,
I'm a member of the Official Ibanez Forum, and Jay ( The site moderator and employee at Ibanez ) has just posted this very important piece of news which I'm sure most of you have been waiting for. . .

To celebrate 20 amazing years of the Ibanez RG series, Hoshino USA will unveil some very special guitars at the 2007 winter NAMM show. Details are being kept under wraps at this time, but what I know right now is that there will be a brand new Steve Vai JEM20TH Signature model and three variations of the highly anticipated RG20TH in some extremely popular retro colors. I will keep this thread updated as often as possible as I find out more info on these Limited Edition 20th Anniversary models. Stay tuned...

This has got me very excited; I've already commenced saving, hopefully for an SK JEM or RG, I'll post more news as it develops from them. . .

Ummm...you don't visit here very often do you? Just kidding man, there are threads already on the 20th anni Jems and RG's, but thanks for keeping us in the loop

Yeah I know, just I thought that people would check a new thread with this important news; usually people forget about a thread ( like the other threads on the 20th ) when a post like this might pop-up.

Retro colors, perhaps? a few of the 87 & 88 colors, Neon orange, DY yellow, RF Red, Neon Pink or that rare 87 Powder looking Purple?

I'm kind of predicting DY, SK and LNG seeing they were the most celebrated Ibanez colours. I doubt anything MIK will be on them, so I'm going with Edge Pro. Plus they can't be celebrating 20 years without maple boards!

I'll let everybody speculate because that's the fun of pre-NAMM teasers, but I will say I orderred 20 last Friday, which should relieve a lot of your concerns.

And just to lay one more teaser -

There will be color matched cases.

Oh lordy mamma - were the hell am I gonna get enough cash for THREE guitars in January? I ain't selling my original '87/'88 RFRs that's for sure.

Maybe I can find somewhere that'll let me pay by installments????

Curly's Music In L'Pool will probably do that for you, not sure though.
