Ibanez jem 555 neck

Hi guys
I bought a jem 555 from ebay... and it came with a broken ( but fixed ) neck . I loved the guitar and want to keep it, so i have to buy a new neck. Does anyone have any idea where i can find one?

If it is fixed decently, I wouldn't worry about it, otherwise, you'll have to probably go direct to Ibanez, you'll have to send them your neck, and buy a replacement, and I wouldn't be surprised if that would cost you more than the 555 did. What is broken on the neck exactly?

it is broken, just behind the lock system... the problem is, that because of that being broken, i cant lower the strings, and on the lower frets the distance between the strings and the neck is more, than a stratocaster squier!!!... thats the experts opinion. the bastard that had the guitar propably broke it on stage...

hmmmmm, well, you know what, send me some pics, I can probably make it play like a brand new neck again for a 1/3 of what a new neck will cost you. I've repaired necks with the headstock broken clear off the guitar. It will probably be a way more feasable approach than buying a new neck, just click on the LGM banner at the top

How good are the 555 necks in comparision to other Jems,

Vai put one on EVO for a little while so they must be alright.

compared to other jem necks, i have no idea, compared to my old squier it iz perfect, even broken
