Ibanez JEM555 and Ibanez JEM Jr.

Why in so many websites, they say that an Ibanez JEM555 is also known as JEM Jr.? I thought they were a different model. JEM555 is more expensive, and better with the Tree of Life inlay from 3rd to 12 fret, and the DiMarzio Pickups, which JEM Jr. are not right? Or are they the same model? Thanks

There is also a JEM333 which I believe is also known as a Jem Jr...this has no dimarzios and plain dot inlays.

Don't buy them! The 333 or "Jr." is strictly sold in asian countries where a lot of replicas are available. The 555 is, duh, well a 555.

You're better of with a second hand real Jem of any type or a high-end RG.

I think the jem 333 is great for modding purposes and the jem 555 aren't really that bad actually but definitely these 2 can't challenge the real deal

Used RG550 and some new pickups and you are good to go .
