Thumbs up

Ibanez JEM7VWH Sustainer Mod w/Buzz Feiten Tuning System

Found this on a Japanese site. Looks like a few people are doing sustainer mods in Japan. This particular one is available at Ikebe (Shibuya store) in Tokyo.

This site can search through new and old equipment in the Tokyo area (at different stores). Check out a used JS90HAM sold for under US$1,000 (drool)...

Also, tons of J-Customs as well. Check out these stunning HRG-03 and HRG-04 (too bad they're all sold out).

So, why Ibanez don't make BIG money sending it all over the globe?
Time to buy direct from Japan...
That natural HRG03 is my all time fav
Tubarão.

I posted the Ikebe-Gakki one a while back.
They also do an awesome Prestige RG with a Sustainer and a Roland GK synth pickup fitted too.

They must have an arrangement with Fernandes because you cannot buy the white Sustainers.

These guitars were moded in the store or for the store (not by Ibanez) and a thread like this one pops up at least twice a year.
Any decent luthier/guitar tech can add a sustainer and Buzz Feiten to any guitar and if you do decide to have something like that done in the UK, Paul is your man, although if you ask me both mods are a complete waste of time and money.

Re: Ibanez JEM7VWH Sustainer Mod w/Buzz Feiten Tuning System

I just had the Sustainiac put in. God I love it. So much fun, and unlike the modded VWH seen here, no wood had to be removed for the mod Except a small pocket for a battery compartment.

While I was at it, I also put in a backstop. I really love playing that guitar...

Wow, that's like $2700 USD. Seems like you could get the same thing done here a lot cheaper...
