According to this website a used JEM77FP - Floral Pattern costs "$850-1050" why is it going for 1500 on **** which around the suggested price for a new JEM77FP?

Re: Ibanez Jems Prices.
With auction sites its whatever someone is willing to pay,ie; how badly someone has to have "that" guitar.plus as diehard pointed out the guide has not been updated in awhile.

Re: Ibanez Jems Prices.
People suddenly started going after certain models. Point in case, the occasional DY you can see on the bay going for $1200+ in less that perfect condition. Suddenly there was more demand and no more supply so prices suffer.
Plus, that pricing guide IS frickin' old. Wonder if Glen's gonna update that.
Things are worth what people are willing to pay for them.

Re: Ibanez Jems Prices.
Apparently, some things are worth MORE than what people will pay for them. I am referring the DNA that went for $6900 last week and just got relisted because that wasn't enough. What a douche. If you don't want to sell it, then don't sell it, but when you get probably the highest price ever offered for one (besides Steve's own) then let it go man. *rant over*

Re: Ibanez Jems Prices.
Yeah, it definitely is. But when you get well above the highest price ever paid for one (again, besides Steves), a Ben Franklin short of $7000, and you say no, not enough, then you are a douche. It's his guitar, he is paying for the ad, so he can do whatever he wants, but that in no way changes his status as a douche.

- Needs to sell guitar in order to "pay bills".
- Boss announces Bonus time!
- No need to sell guitar in order to "pay bills".
- Boss announces Bonus time is postponed due to holidays.
I KNOW this is what happened. It was on the news.

Doesn't it cost something like 25 cents extra to have a reserve? Douche AND cheap!

I really SHOULD be happy, this will only serve to increase the value of my swirls, but I don't know, it just rubs me the wrong way.

Re: Ibanez Jems Prices.
i think the prices is what you want to pay for it...and the owner sells it for...in holland it will be different than usa of japan...in holland you can't sell a flower...and maybe in the usa everone loves it...next year it will be different...

I beg to differ. While in Holland recently, I witnessed many 'flowers' being sold. And consumed.
