Cool

Re: Ibanez-Police

Hmm...

An "Ibanez Vigilante" group. Sounds like we could make a good website there.

www.ibanezvigilante.com is probably available...

I have no idea as to how we could do it though, although it does sound like it would be a laugh at worst. At the least it would raise awareness.

I'm up for a bit of that, it might be funny. Prepare for some scary "gang-land" retribution though if we start taking business away from the knock-off Ibanez syndicates

Re: Ibanez-Police

Actually...

I've been after a website project for a while... I could do with knowing a bit more about how to throw a website together.

I know you were prolly taking the p*ss, but it could actually be quite fun. I'm thinking maybe a half serious warning website about copy Ibanez' with a guide as to how to spot them, photos and reviews of the copys with comparisons to the real jems (555 and 333 included). If it were done a bit "tongue in cheek" it could be quite funny.

"here follows a serious warning about buying a knocked off Ibanez..."

could set up a petition etc to he-bay...
contact the bidders (like you said)...
hours of fun

I know I'm sad, but I could be a fun project to get stuck in to website, for me and whoever else would want to get in involved...

Just an idea...

Re: Ibanez-Police

Sound's like a good Idea, that way you can help out people who don't know the real IBANEZ guitar's form the FAKE CHIBANEZ guitar's & put a link to evil-bay where they breed

You also could post info & pic's & stuff for reference purposes & reasons why NOT to Buy The Faker's & how crappy they are really made + a BASHING PAGE for all them poor victims who forked out money for this CHIBANEZ crap & want to Show how they got dune over, show pic's etc

also the fun page where you can blow off some steam at these sellers

These Fakes SUCK!!! let the war begin bro's

It will be fun to see what happens?

Re: Ibanez-Police

Another thought....EvilBay are now stoping communications to buyers that you are not involved in a deal with. So i dont know how we are to contact the buyers...sellers are easy

Re: Ibanez-Police

i dont think anyone would care? the people buying these are quiet clearly too naive and just buy them when they see the low price!

Re: Ibanez-Police

i'm doing kind of a "Fake Ibanez Detect" in the Italian version of my site, to spot fake Ibys in the Italian online markets only. but i also spot good prices and i'll be correcting bad or wrong info (e.g. S540 on sell as Gambale models, or RG270 on sell as MIJ models etc).
a bit time-wasting but someone's got to do it... LOL

Re: Ibanez-Police

I think they would care cause it may be a very low price but the p and p is allways near the 200...that would make anyone care bout it

Re: Ibanez-Police

Guys, there's NOTHING wrong with a good Chibanez. I just got this one and it rocks. Only cost £2.50. How can anyone complain at that? Sure, shipping was £1050, but I'm happy with it.
