ILT Trem

Anybody know about a certain ILT trem on Ibanez guitars and whether I can swap them with Edges?

I may be mistaken by I think it's just another way of calling the Lo-Trs.

It's a non-locking trem with fine tuners, which LOOKS like a locking trem. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

1) wrong forum.

2) I had one on a rg270 I had to repair for a friend and after a good setup the tuning was ok. It looked horrible, but worked better than a trs I had.

Sorry but could anyone explain what locking, double-locking and non-locking means?

Well it just says where the string is locked.

Double locking: Strings are locked at the bridge and the nut (Edge, trs, the "real" floyd rose bridges, ...)
Single locking: Strings are just locked at the nut (ILT)
Non-locking: Standard nut, standard trem: for ex. on vintage tremolos.
