Im keeping the DBK....Or I may get a PBK if possible!!

As you may know i have been acting like a "baby"(as the JEM site members have been calling me). I was all pissed about the poor set up but i got it set up and it still was acting up. I was going to trade i for an Yngwie Malmsteen Strat. But man am i glad i didn't!!!! I just started playing this guitar seriously instead of my old one and the possibilities of the floyd and the smooth think neck is meraculoust (sp). I am still going to have Guitar Center look at it because i broke 4 strings in one 1 hour jam session and it still doesn't stay in tune very well. But hopefully i can get it to play like i want it too. If any one has or knows where to buy a JEM7PBK i would like to buy one instead of this (take the DBK back and get my $1100 and buy a PBK). Thanx.

check the classifieds for a PBK... not that WTB ads are welcome in this area. I find both the PBK and DBK to be cool axes... just quite different. Good luck... glen

Those guitars are quite different. Neck profile, neck joint, different pups, and I believe the PBK has the old style monkey grip. The issue of set-up is something you should definitely look into. A properly set-up guitar plays like a dream. Four broken strings in one hour make me wonder about your trem. Are you an extremely heavy picker or just whammy crazy? Is the guitar new? If so, it should have a return policy. G.C. has a 30 day return policy.

I'll try to say this in plain english.... If you're not happy with the axe, return it, or invest in a professional set-up.
