Images of my guitars...

Been a while since I posted here. Received one guitar from Darren. 1 is painted and awaiting clear, the other 2 haven't been painted yet...

Here's the crowd... There sort of artsy... LOL

Those are some of the sexiest photos I have ever seen of a guitar (baring a scantily clad woman in the photo). The black & white one is super sexy.

Ohhh...nice!

I´m thinking more and more about getting a "swirl". I´ve grown to like the look of it a lot, actually I used to hate it.

Thanks all...

Appreciate the kind words. The B+W is my favorite. Curves are sexy whether they are in wood or skin... know what I mean... LOL

Might be a new business for me... portraits of instruments. Any one think that Vai would like some better shots of his guitars??? haha...

Will post more later..

How did you shoot this? The guitars are so close together. Did you pust something between them to protect the finishes? Just curious. Photography is another hobby of mine and I like photographing guitars. I really like what you've done and I'm sure I speak among many when I say "I wanna see more."

BTW-Sorry if this double-posts. I had a little trouble with the first attempt and I didn't think it took.

Here's some more...

This is the only place I would post these. I consider this forum sort of like home. I know I can post images and won't get an art critique... LOL

Hey there Mr. Haug, how are ya? Shot this with a Canon D-30 and a 28-105 Canon lens. Layed all the guitars on the ground. Used a towel on the back of each. Actually cut one to fit so no edges would stick out. I also wanted them to lay real tight to each other. Postitioned that camera right above it looking down and then rotated it to give the illusion of standing up.

All these shots were done with the same set up just shot at different angles. Exposures ranged from 1/2 to 3 seconds. To get everything in focus I need to shoot at f22.

Tons o' Fun!!! Any one want pictures of their guitars. I promise I will return them... Bwahahahahahahahahaaa...
