Is this a true jem or a fake?

I'd like to know if this jem is fake since I know nothing about Jems.

The guy is selling this guitar for $900 but I think there's something wrong with the headstock and the trem.

The fine tuners on the trem are gold, aren't they supossed to be black? And I think the headstock is not sharped enough.

One thing to look at that is a dead giveaway even from a distance or the poor pics most people use to try to pass these off is the size & shape of the monkey grip... When in doubt compare the grip to a known "real" Jem.

Apart from what has already been said...
The tremolo is also definitely NOT a LoPro Edge or Edge Pro... which I think
are the only trems that Ibanez ever installed on a Jem7VWH?
It's surely not a Edge either, for that matter. It looks like a cheap Floyd copy, perhaps a Gotoh.
And Ibanez locknuts have black bolts, not gold.

The vine inlay also seems to lack detail, and the top frets don't seem to be scalloped. The wood also seems much ligher than a Jem neck.

So yes, very very fake.

Besides all the rest, notice the trem bar is gold. All versions of the edge have a black bar.

Besides everything else, a dead giveaway would be the non-scalloped top frets.

this faek is from T. Johnson guitars.. its a chinese factory that does "replicas".. the vine inlay is cool but the guitars it self is horrible...

p.s. the tremolo is not gotho, is not rs .. its a crappy thing that looks like a tremolo.. ive seen this guitar in a store.. run run run from it..
