afaik, all Floral Pattern JEMs have
Dimarzio PAF Pro humbuckers and the "JEM" single coil. I've looked at the the Ibanez Japanese and Ishibashi Music sites - because at one point when I first started looking for one I was considering buying one new from Japan - and the specs would appear to be identical to mine... but mine
is an "American" model (if Ibanez makes these distinctions with it's production guitars). As far as playability is concerned, mine's ten years old now, and well worn in, but it has one of the most comfortable necks I've ever played. Sound is very subjective, and depends on everything in the signal chain, but I really like the resonance of the
basswood body, the fact the guitar is so "alive" acoustically. And the PAF Pros are excellent pickups, *quite warm but still responsive and articulate, and they handle moderate amounts of gain very, very well... the "in-between" positions result in a pretty radical reduction in output, which is very useful at stage volumes but a little strange when you first hear it at low volumes at home. The FP is a wonderful guitar, well worth the price, imho
