Jem 2002 vsbl new owner

Hi all

i'am just about to buy a 2002 jem vsbl from ****

from a seller in the UK

and just wanted to know a few question to ask

also

what is the spec of these guitars like

i owned a 2006 rg 2550 prestige and the edge pro trem was rubbish

is the low pro trem any better for tuning stability

i have wanted a jem since i was 17 and i'am now 31

so i want to make a right choice.............

any advice or pointer, comments

will be great

Re: Jem 2002 vsbl new owner

I have a VSBL from the same era with a lo-pro edge. The tuning stability is as good as any floyd equipped guitar I have played. For what it's worth, the lo-pro edge is what Vai still uses, so it can't be all that bad can it?

Read the tech section over at Ibanez Rules (banner above) about setting up the tremolo.

Good man! You won't be dissapointed.

Just remember to replace the pickguard and truss cover with pearloid because it makes the Vsbl look a LOT sweeter

NOT TRUE! I do like the pearloid vibe, but the white gives it a classic 50s vibe.

To each his own

Myself, I prefer the "Jem" look over the "Strat" look.

Just IMHO

What are the Evo's like in the jem

Do people replace the evo's for other pickups

or just keep them
