No offense, but it seems you're trying to make yourself feel better about owning the 555 after seeing so many people here dissing it. I agree with them. It's not a JEM, it's a cheap version of a JEM which is nowhere near the standard of a "real" one. The guitar should never have been produced. Even
Dave Weiner will tell you the same thing. A good, mid-price Japanese RG blows it out of the water, and THAT should never happen with a "JEM".
The real affordable JEM is, and always was, the RG550.
